It's the follow-up to the unraveled prayer quilt. It's made from a stack of 10 Bull's Eye quilt squares. The first panel is the symetry of a quilt piece. The second panel is made from stripping and re-stripping the other 9 quilt squares. And the third panel is made from tiny tiny pieces of the scraps from those quilt squares.
I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Oh, nice! I'm so glad you got to use those bull's eye squares after all. I guess it's true that when things don't work out quite right, you're forced to be creative.
Fun quilting on the mat, too!
love the effect of the re-stripping! It reminds me of stainglass... :-)
Very nice piece. Did you use netting or tuile over the third panel to "hold in" the small pieces?
I hadn't thought of stained glass. Nice!
Yes, there is tulle over the 3rd piece. I wonder-undered lots of it, but it's so thick with tiny fragments that I needed the tulle to keep everything from falling off.
